Explain Professional Education
Testimonial.
Explain is committed to presenting effective, practically oriented training courses in XML and related technologies. A full catalogue of XML courses is available, as well as a list of individual topics. Explain presents training courses in capital cities throughout the Australasian region (Australia, New Zealand and Singapore). Please contact us to register your interest in a course. If there are several people requiring training in your organisation then it is often more cost-effective to present an in-house training course (even if international travel is involved). An in-house training course can be presented on your premises, or Explain can arrange a suitable venue for you. Training courses presented in this way are charged on a fixed-fee basis, which includes all costs associated with the running of the course - presenter, travel expenses and course materials for all participants. Apart from the cost savings, another major advantage of an in-house course is that the course presentation can be customised to your training needs. Additional topics may be added and topics of no interest may be removed. Standard courses can be combined for further cost reductions. For example, a popular combination is the XML For Webmasters and XML For Developers courses. Normally these courses are each presented over two days for a total duration of four days. However, the two courses may be combined into a single three day presentation. Explain course packs for the courses listed above are available to purchase for individual use. Contact Explain with your requirements. Prices vary from course-to-course. As a guide, courseware for a two day course, such as XML For Webmasters or XML For Developers, costs AUD100.00 (P&H additional, Australian customers add 10% GST). The course materials are also available in electronic form, either purchased on a one-off basis or as a subscription. An online store is not available at this time. Training organisations are welcome to license Explain's courseware for presentations to their course participants. The courseware is itself written in XML, making it very easy to deliver flexible, customised courses. A wide range of topics are covered and any of these may be combined into a course. The course material is kept up-to-date and new versions are made available on a regular basis. Contact Explain for further information.
