Notes on services:
Early access to code |
During Stage 1 of development, LIBX* engineers will delay submitting code for inclusion in the libxml2/libxslt codebase for up to 6 months. Support programme members will have access to this code during this period.
Once development enters Stage 2, the amount of time that code submission will be delayed will be reduced. By the time the project completes Stage 3 there should be no delay.
|
Email support |
We will provide advice on the use of libxml2 and/or libxslt via email. A reply to a message will be sent within 1 business day of receiving the message. |
Telephone support |
As for email support, but via telephone. "Telephone" may be via normal voiceline or VOIP (Skype or similar). Availability is restricted to normal business hours, Australian Eastern Standard time, except by prior arrangement. |
Access to developer blog |
LIBX* engineers will maintain a blog that is accessible only to support programme members. Developers will post regular progress reports and other information to the blog.
Other Web-based services may also be offered, such as Wikis.
|
Priority bug fixes |
When a bug is reported, LIBX* engineers will schedule the bug for immediate resolution. Bug fixes will be made available to support programme members before being submitted for inclusion in the libxml2/libxslt codebase. |
Product License Discount |
The LIBX* project plans to release a commercial product in Stages 2 and 3. When this happens all Business, Enterprise, Gold and Platinum support programme members will be offered a discount on purchasing licenses of the product. This discount will not be offered to members who join after the product has been released. |
